The holidays are here — time to be with family and friends, enjoy some good cheer and maybe indulge a little.
So Patch wants to know: Where do you go when you're looking for that special treat? Who makes the best cookies, pastries, cakes or pies? Who's got the tastiest bread around, or the most creative confections?
For this installment of "Best Of," we're making it a three-way battle between Plainfield, Bolingbrook and Romeoville.
When it comes to confections, there's lots of choices, from the traditional treats at Plainfield mainstay Cathy's Sweet Creations to Romeoville "cheesecake guy" Steve Buresh's wide variety of creamy creations, not to mention French and Mexican bakeries.
