The election is over. Everyone needs to move on.

One of the Great Ideas of the American Democracy is that once an election takes place, the voters have spoken and life goes on. We accept the outcome because we believe in majority rule no matter if our candidate wins or loses. Congratulations to the new State Senator Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant. May she represent the 49th District with honor and passion. I had the opportunity to personally convey my congratulations to her when we rode the same elevator at the Capitol a few weeks ago. FYI -- Patch Policy requires that this blog remain open. I had asked that it be closed after the election because it was no longer needed, but informed that Freedom of Information record keeping prevented it's total removal. To that extent, I felt it only fitting to leave this positive message as my last entry. Thanks to all who offered comments -- that's what makes this the Greatest Country on the planet.
