Hopefully Diageo is paying for the ice cream since the Plainfield School District gave them a $180,000 property tax break on their expansion. Greg - thanks for voting "no" for the administrators raises earlier in the year. Kirberg, Baker, and Mr. Kelly feel the need to raise property taxes and spend $322,000 plus on administrator salaries. Even though Mr. Bonuchi abstained his vote he still openly supported the pay raises so they can stay "competetive." The School District property tax bill is staying pretty competetive too and on the brink of obnoxious. And the district is still 8 million in the red. Sounds like the teaches and administrators need more wage freezes, make bigger pension contributions, and pay more for health care. Stop raising taxes while giving tax breaks to corporations.
