Bonuchi Named New President of District 202 Board

Outgoing President Stuart Bledsoe did not seek re-election to the board; two new board members were sworn in Tuesday night.

Roger Bonuchi, a newly-re-elected member of the Plainfield School District 202 board, was chosen by his peers to serve as board president Tuesday night.

He succeeds Stuart Bledsoe, who attended his final meeting after opting not to seek re-election to the board. Also elected to board positions were Michelle Smith, vice president, and Eric Gallt, secretary.

Tuesday night was also the final meeting for Dave Obrzut, who lost his re-election bid on April 5. Two new board members, Kevin Kirberg and Greg Nichols, were sworn in for four-year terms.
