'Coffee' with Supt. Harper This Saturday

The Plainfield School District 202 superintendent and his staff will meet with the public to discuss any topic relevant to schools and district policies.

The first of three "Community Coffees with the Superintendent" will be from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the , 15732 Howard St., Plainfield.

At the gathering, the public is free to question Supt. John Harper and members of his staff on any topic relevant to district or its schools.

Similar "coffees" will be held on Dec. 3, 2011, and Feb. 4, 2012.

The event is free and registration is not required. The agenda is set by the questions asked and the time available, according to a media release from district spokesman Tom Hernandez.

"The Community Coffees are a unique opportunity to talk directly with the 'chief executive officer' of District 202, which is the fourth-largest school district in Illinois," he said.
