Electronics Recycling at Grand Prairie School

Everything from old phones to gaming consoles will be accepted; only white goods and air-conditioners are prohibited.

It's time to gather up all those old TVs, computers, cell phones and other items gathering dust, and get rid of them the proper way through recycling.

Grand Prairie Elementary School, 3300 Caton Farm Road, is holding a free electronics recycling event for the community from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. No white goods or air-conditioners will be accepted, but the following items will:

  • Televisions
  • CRT monitors
  • LCD monitors
  • Computers
  • Laptops
  • Printers
  • Fax machines
  • Copiers
  • Video cassette recorders
  • Computer keyboards and mice
  • DVD players
  • Microwave ovens
  • Stereos and portable music players
  • Speakers
  • Computer parts
  • Telephone
  • Cell phones
  • Gaming consoles
  • Handheld electronic devices
