Applications for District 202 Preschool Starts in January

Plainfield -- Applications for the 2011-2012 school year at the Bonnie McBeth Learning Center, District 202's preschool, will be taken from January 17-24, 2011.

Enrollment at Bonnie McBeth is open to all District 202 children ages 3-5. Students must be three years old on or before September 1, 2011 to enroll for the 2011-2012 school year.

Priority registration will be given to current students and their siblings. These students' registration packets, along with a nonrefundable $100 deposit, are due on January 24, 2011.

Bonnie McBeth will also accept mail-in lottery applications for new students who do not have siblings at Bonnie McBeth, postmarked between January 17-24, 2011. Do not send money at this time with these applications. Applications received before January 17, 2011 will be returned to the applicant.

A lottery will be held on January 28, 2011. Parents will receive either a confirmation letter or waiting list process information the first week in February 2010. Open registration for any remaining slots will begin on March 2, 2011.

Registration information is available at the Bonnie McBeth Learning Center, 15730 Howard Street, Plainfield; the District 202 Administrative Center, 15732 Howard Street, Plainfield; and at all District 202 elementary schools. Applications are also posted on the Bonnie McBeth Learning Center Web site at www.psd202.org/mcbeth.
