Author William Powers Closes "The Great Read 2011" Program
"The Great Read 2011" will close with a visit from William Powers, author of the year's featured book "Hamlet's Blackberry."
Besides a chat with Powers, a Nook e-reader will be given away and refreshments will be served.
The book focuses on the impact of technology on our lives.
"The Great Read" is presented by Plainfield School District 202; the Plainfield, Joliet, Fountaindale and Shorewood public libraries; and the Joliet, Bolingbrook, Plainfield and Naperville Barnes & Noble stores.
