College Financial Aid Event Set for Dec. 9

field School District 202 will hold a free, districtwide financial aid information night for junior and senior college-bound students and their families at 7 p.m. Dec. 9

The event will be held at Plainfield High School-Central Campus, 24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive, Plainfield.  The information is tailored for families of District 202 high school junior and senior students.

Representatives with the Illinois Student Assistance Commission will host information sessions in both English and Spanish about the financial aid process and how to make college affordable.

The representatives will provide information on many of the forms tied to financial aid in college, including forms for scholarships, grants, student loans, work study programs and other monies that might be available.
