High Schools Host Transition Night for Incoming Freshmen

Three Plainfield School District 202 high schools will hold programs on Dec. 1 to help current eighth-grade students ease their transition into high school.

The "Explorations 2015" program will help incoming freshmen and their parents get acquainted with the school, the curriculum and opportunities for extracurricular activities.

Department chairmen and counselors will be on hand at each school to assist and answer questions. Students and their families will also be able to browse the array of after school activities at the extracurricular fair, and students interested in athletics can meet with coaches to discuss the high school sports programs.
