Resident Registration for Plainfield Park District Great Adventures Program for Preschoolers

Resident registration for the Plainfield Park District’s Great Adventures Program for Preschoolers will begin Monday, March 5 and run through Thursday, March 22. A registration lottery will occur Friday, March 23.

Registration is accepted only at the Recreation/Administration Center, 23729 W. Ottawa St., Plainfield. Online registration is not accepted for this program.

Based on the premise that children learn through play, participants ages 3 to 5 explore, create, discover, problem solve, and communicate to develop age-appropriate skills. Experienced, nurturing staff members implement a progressive program using themes to expose students to colors, shapes, numbers, and letters through a friendly, fun atmosphere. A balance of whole group and small group activities encourage academic and listening skills along with social interaction. Each classroom consists of two instructors and approximately 18 students.
