Plainfield Central Student Aces ACT Test

Junior prepared by taking a few practice tests at home.

Plainfield Central High School junior Emma Turnbull has scored a perfect 36 score on her ACT test.

Emma, who took the test in February, ranks first in her class of 521 juniors, according to a report on the Plainfield District 202 website.

“I thought I could do pretty well, and I hoped to, but I didn’t expect a perfect score,” said Turnbull, who has a 5.85 grade-point average on a 5-point scale. “I felt like I had done well on the test, though.”
