Plainfield High Schools Sponsor 'Exploring College Options' Night

Event features panel discussion, Q&A session.

Submitted by District 202:

All District 202 high school juniors and their families are invited and encouraged to attend a special event to help them explore their college options, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 6, at Plainfield North High School, 12005 S. 248th St., Plainfield.

The program is sponsored by the Student Services departments at PHSCC, and Plainfield South, North and East high schools.

A panel of college representatives will discuss what student life is like at each kind of college. A question and answer session will follow the panel presentation.

Speakers from these colleges are expected to attend:

  • Michigan State University, representing the large, four-year public institution
  • Marquette University, representing the medium, four-year private institution
  • Augustana College, representing the small, four-year private institution
  • Joliet Junior College, representing the two-year institution
