Plainfield South Hosts College Night for Students with Special Needs

Reps from local colleges will be on hand, and parents can learn more about financial aid, applying to colleges and more.

District 202 will host an IEP and 504 College Night for special education students and their families from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at Plainfield South High School, 7800 W. Caton Farm Rd., Plainfield.

This free event will provide important information for special needs students who want to attend college, including required documentation; entrance requirements; college expectations; and student responsibilities.

Representatives will be on hand from several colleges and universities including Joliet Junior College, Southern Illinois University, Lincoln College, Elmhurst College and Aurora University to help answer questions for families and students.
