Will it be Obama or Romney in Tibbott's Mock Election?

The results of the school's mock presidential election will be announced this week.

Tibbott Elementary School students will anxiously watch the results of the Presidential election after casting their own ballots last week in the school library.

In recent weeks, Tibbott students in grades 2-5 not only learning about presidential elections through a BrainPop video, but also registering to vote.

Last week, they filed in their ballots while standing one-at-a-time in a mini voting both in the library, voting for either President Obama or Governor Romney. After they’ve marked their ballots, students place the ballots in a red, white and blue ballot box where they will remain until polls close.

Every student who votes receives an “I voted” book mark.
