Please consider applying a preventative grub control. The optimum timing is between June 15 and the 4th of July. If possible, time the application prior to the forecast of rain as the active ingredient needs to be watered in to allow the grass plant to absorb it.

It is also a good time to apply a good turf fertilizer with broadleaf weed control. A fertilizer high in nitrogen such as 24 – 0 – 5, or 30 – 0 – 4 will help the health and vitality of your lawn; keeping it greener and thicker while minimizing weeds.
