When and how did your business get started?

In 1988 when I decide I was tired of working for other large road builders and excavators.

What is your business best known for?

It's pretty basic: We have been installing high quality asphalt construction work for 25 years

Why did you choose the town you did to open your business?

I've lived here all my life.

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?

Well I'm a big stock car fanatic and a friend of mine was a track official at the old Raceway Park in Blue Island. I guess all the drivers and car owners were tired of the poor track conditions. To make a long story short I repaved Raceway Park and the lap times went by as high as half of a second. Bill Wildt from Motorsports Unlimited even did a bit about us repaving the track.

If anybody knows about or goes to Grundy Co. Speedway, I repaired turns 1-2 with the very same asphalt that was used at Chicagoland Speedway. After all these years that asphalt that we placed in that turn is still in place and in good shape after taking a beating for that long by tons of talented drivers, myself included for one year. Racing out there was one of biggest adrenalin rushes I have ever had in my life.
