Donnally has 13 goals and two assists through the first 10 games of the season. Working on his game in the offseason and a year of maturity has combined to make Donnally a scoring machine and the school's career goals leader.

“Colin's work ethic is absolutely tremendous,” coach Jim O’Hara said. “How good he is in soccer is how he is in every part of his life. I refer to Colin as a "Machine" due to the fact that he never stops and is a constant disruption to opposing defenses.”

Oh, did I mention he carries a 5.3 grade-point average on a 5.0 scale?

That made Donnally an easy choice as the first-ever Plainfield Patch Athlete of the Week.
