Football: 2013 Plainfield Schedule Released

Cheer on the Wildcats, Cougars, Bengals or Tigers this fall in District 202.

It's getting to be that time of year again.

The IHSA has released the 2013 football schedule, including games for all four District 202 high schools.

The complete schedule is below. The teams' 2012 records are in parentheses.

Plainfield Central


The Wildcats went 6-4 last year and will start this season vs. Marmion Academy.

Their 2013 schedule is:
  • Aug. 30 at Marmion Academy (4-5)—7:30 p.m.
  • Sept. 6 at St. Charles North (4-5)—7 p.m.
  • Sept. 13 at Romeoville (0-9)—7 p.m.
  • Sept. 20 vs. Minooka (4-5)—7 p.m.
  • Sept. 27 at Plainfield North (7-3)—7 p.m.
  • Oct. 4 vs. Oswego East (4-5)—7 p.m.
  • Oct. 11 at Plainfield South (4-5)—7 p.m.
  • Oct. 18 vs. Plainfield East (2-7)—7 p.m.
  • Oct. 25 vs. Oswego (9-2)—7 p.m.


Plainfield East


The Bengals, who went 2-7 last year, will kick off the season against Metea Valley on Aug. 30 and end the regular season facing off against crosstown rival Plainfield South.

Their complete schedule:
  • Aug. 30 vs. Metea Valley (2-7)—7:30 p.m.
  • Sept. 6 at West Aurora (3-6)—7:30 p.m.
  • Sept. 13 at Oswego East (4-5)—7 p.m.
  • Sept. 20 vs. Plainfield North (7-3)—7 p.m.
  • Sept. 27 at Minooka (4-5)—7 p.m.
  • Oct. 4 at Oswego (9-2)—7 p.m.
  • Oct. 11 vs. Romeoville High School (0-9)—7 p.m.
  • Oct. 18 at Plainfield Central (6-4)—7 p.m.
  • Oct. 25 vs. Plainfield South (4-5)—7 p.m.


Plainfield North


The Tigers ended 2012 with a 7-3 record, and start 2013 facing off against Westinghouse College Prep on Aug. 30.

Their complete schedule:
  • Aug. 30 vs. Westinghouse College Prep (7-3)—7 p.m.
  • Sept. 6 at Pekin (6-4)—7:30 p.m.
  • Sept. 13 at Plainfield South (4-5)—7 p.m.
  • Sept. 20 at Plainfield East (2-7)—7 p.m.
  • Sept. 27 vs. Plainfield Central (6-4)—7 p.m.
  • Oct. 4 at Romeoville High School (0-9)—7 p.m.
  • Oct. 11 vs. Oswego (9-2)—7 p.m.
  • Oct. 18 at Minooka (4-5)—7 p.m.
  • Oct. 25 vs. Oswego East (4-5)—7 p.m.


Plainfield South


The Cougars went 4-5 last season, and will face off Aug. 30 against Lemont, finishing the regular season on Oct. 25 against Plainfield East.

  • Aug. 30 at Lemont (11-2)—7 p.m.
  • Sept. 6 vs. St. Francis (5-4)—7 p.m.
  • Sept. 13 vs. Plainfield North (7-3)—7 p.m.
  • Sept. 20 at Oswego East (4-5)—7 p.m.
  • Sept. 27 vs. Romeoville (0-9)—7 p.m.
  • Oct. 4 at Minooka (4-5)—7 p.m.
  • Oct. 11 vs. Plainfield Central (6-4)—7 p.m.
