Joliet Slammers Host Baseball Camp for Kids

The Joliet Slammers, presented by ATI Physical Therapy, announce that kids will have the opportunity to hone their pitching and catching skills on Saturday, May 24 at Silver Cross Field.

From 9 a.m. to noon, the Slammers will host a Pitchers and Catchers camp for kids in tee ball through eighth grade.

The camp costs $50 and offers three hours of pitching and catching instruction from Slammers players. Each camper will also receive four tickets to the Slammers game that night. Participants will be divided into groups based on their age and playing abilities and will rotate through different instructional stations.

All campers are asked to bring their own equipment including a glove, spikes, catchers gear (if applicable) and to wear baseball attire.

For those interested, registration is still open and interested participants can call Heather Mills at 815-651-2040 or visit jolietslammers.com to download a registration form. Additional baseball camps will be held on June 7, June 28, and July 19.
