PHOTOS: Plainfield South Victorious in Season Opener
The Cougars started the year off right; they'll face St. Francis this Friday at home.
Despite having their first game of the 2013 season postponed due to stormy weather, Plainfield South's varsity football team brought home the win as it faced off in Lemont over the weekend.
The Cougars (1-0) beat the Indians (0-1) 28-13 on Saturday.
PSHS will take on St. Francis High School of Wheaton, which also starts the season 1-0, at home on Friday, Sept. 6.
