Unseasonably Cool Temps, Chance of Storms Ahead This Week in Plainfield

If you're like me and you prefer temperatures in the mid-70s to low-80s, then this week will be perfect for you.

Tuesday will have a high near 74 and sunny skies, according to the National Weather ServiceThere is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Unseasonably cool temperatures are also forecast for Wednesday, with a high near 76 and partly sunny skies — but a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms.

What's for forecast for Independence Day? Expect a high near 79 and a chance of showers and thunderstorms. 

Friday and Saturday will see highs near 84 and mostly sunny skies. The forecast calls for a high near 85 on Sunday with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.
