Looking for a Home: Libby

Visit Libby and other adoptable pets at the Animal Care Center in Plainfield.

Libby is a 10-year-old female poodle mix. We believe she was kept as a breeding dog at a puppy mill and was turned out on the street when she became too old to have puppies. She appears to be mostly deaf, although we think she can hear some things. She's a quiet girl and doesn't want much except to have a human companion. Her adoption donation is only $59.

You can learn more about Libby from the Help Save Pets video that accompanies this article. And you can meet Libby and other great pets at the , 14411 Route 59, Plainfield, 815-436-8387.

Available pets can also be viewed at www.helpsavepets.org. Adoption donations range from $29 to $399 for cats and dogs and include spay or neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, first distemper vaccine, fecal test, first de-worming, heartworm test (if applicable), canine bordetella, feline leukemia test (if applicable), and a microchip identification implant.
