There's plenty more happening in Plainfield this week:

Monday

With the existing township building out of commission since code violations came to light, the township board thinks they have an economical solution to their building woes — and voters will make the final call.

A special meeting of electors is at 8 p.m. Monday at John F. Kennedy Middle School, 12350 Essington Rd. To participate, you must be a registered voter in Wheatland Township; guests are asked to arrive by 6:30 p.m. to check in.
