Plainfield Parking Improvements Continue; Buckle Up For Halloween
Things to know this week in Plainfield.
Work continues on improvements to municipal parking lots and alleys in downtown Plainfield; last week, the Plainfield Public Library shared photos of the progress in the library lot on Facebook.
The library parking lot is expected to be completed by Thanksgiving, according to the library, while the overall project should be largely completed by the end of the year. Read more on the parking lot and alley improvements here.
Thursday is Halloween, and trick-or-treating hours in Plainfield are 4 to 7 p.m. Find a full roundup of Halloween activities, haunted yards and houses and other fall fun stuff here.
Also this week, be sure to buckle up. Plainfield police are conducting a Halloween "Click It or Ticket" enforcement (funded by IDOT) through Thursday.
