Stop by the Plainfield Fire Protection District Headquarters, 23748 W. 135th St., Friday and get a free pint of Culver's frozen custard in exchange for donating blood.
The "Give a Pint, Get a Pint" blood drive starts at 1 p.m.
Also on Friday, you can get your tech questions answered from 10 a.m. to noon at the Plainfield Public Library, 15025 S. Illinois St.
During the open lab, residents can drop in and ask questions about Microsoft Office, eBooks, library online resources, social media, internet searching and more. No registration required.
