Plainfield Central, Plainfield North to Perform at Music Bowl

Two Plainfield high schools will be part of the 11th annual Marching Mustangs Music Bowl on Saturday at Dowers Grove South High School.

The event will feature performances by more than 20 school bands throughout the day, starting at 11 a.m. at Downers Grove South High School, 1436 Norfolk St. in Downers Grove.

Participating bands include Plainfield Central, which is scheduled to perform at 3:45 p.m., and Plainfield North, slated for 4:30 p.m.

There will be finals competition at 7 p.m., a special performance by the Marching Mustangs at 9:30 p.m. and awards presented at 9:45. For tickets and more information, go to the Music Bowl website.
