Here is a step by step, from a homeowner’s point of view, on how Opal Enterprises ensures you have the most accurate and in depth quote for your valuable project.

Step One: Contacting Opal Enterprises – I get in touch with Opal Enterprises by phone, email and-or online requests. Once I’m on the phone with a friendly voice from the office, there is a mutual back and forth on what it is I’m looking for and what it will take to get the job done. We go over any issues I’m currently experiencing, what it is I’m looking for and the time frame I’d like it done in. They gather all my contact information and set me up with a Project Consultant that is knowledgeable on the products Opal offers and the means of installation. After they explain their in depth process, I am comforted knowing that they’re willing to invest their valuable time with me, as I’m spending my valuable money on my valuable home. They go above and beyond my expectations, offering to email me a photo of the Project Consultant, so I know who it is I’m meeting with. I’m apprehensive about giving out my email, as, I get enough spam on a daily basis, but, I’m assured they won’t sell or give out my email address and they don’t. Opal Enterprises understands the value of privacy and comfort. The email that came across was quite wonderful. Not only was there some brief information on the company, and that very appreciated photo of the stranger that will be in my home, but, they give me some valuable information on remodelers and remodeling in general . Knowledge is power and it’s comforting knowing they want me to have that power, regardless if I use them for my exterior remodeling needs.
Step Two: Confirmation – A day before my Project Consultant is scheduled to meet with me, someone from the office calls me to confirm my appointment and make sure I’m comfortable with everything. They ask if I have any questions or concerns about the upcoming appointment and briefly go over what it is I’m looking to have quoted.
Step Three: Measure Day – My project consultant pulls up in a marked car/truck and is wearing marked attire as well. Now, I see the face that matches the picture I got earlier and he’s marked in company logos, so I know in this crazy world, he is in fact, who he says he is. He approaches me with a smile, a handshake and an introduction. We sit down to discuss the project at hand. He reiterates what I’ve already talked about with the office staff and clarifies with me, so we’re both assured we’re on the same page. There’s no selling or pressure; it’s just discussion and information. He even has an iPad™ to show me pictures of work they’ve done and examples of different options I may like. After we’ve gone over key points and all my questions are answered, he excuses himself to take a look at the property, take photos, measurements and learn where the key issues are. He then, asks for entry back into the home, removing his shoes, as he’s been trudging around my lawn for a little while. He takes the necessary measurements and photos from the interior of the home as well. If he’s looking at my roof, he even takes the time to get in the attic to check insulation levels, check for any wood rot on my decking and make sure that the ventilation is sufficient for a happy and fully effective roof. When I mention that no one else has required this step, he is not surprised and explains it’s for the most thorough inspection, minimizing surprise costs during the remodeling process. At this point I’m educated that there are actually two areas of the roof and both areas are being inspected to make sure they perform with the upmost functionality. After he gathers all the information, measurements and photos he needs, he asks me to set up a follow up appointment with him to go over the proposal he has custom written, just for me with all the options we spoke about.
Step Four: The Follow Up – My project consultant comes back for our secondary appointment with the same smile, handshake and greeting. We sit down to a detailed proposal and scope of work, that has explanations on products I’m interested in, installation methods, industry standards and a detailed price page with all my options laid out. He takes his time with every page, making sure I fully understand what my project entails and points out all potential areas of extra cost. Lead paint, wood rot, permits, etc… my Project Consultant is thorough and honest. He shows me some samples of the products I’m interested in, and nothing I’m not interested in. There’s still no selling or pressure; just discussion, information and examples. I still have a few design questions… “Would my gables look better with the scallops I want or the shakes my husband wants?” That’s when my Project Consultant presents me with a few photos of my home, in various designs we had talked about in the first meeting! This visual is a great tool, as no one wants to make a “guess” as to what would look best on their home. After reviewing the proposal, my husband and I still couldn’t come to an agreement on colors. The Project Consultant leaves us some samples in the two colors so we can take a few days to discuss and compare. He gives us a call a few days later to make sure we don’t have any questions or concerns and see if there’s anything he can aide in. I asked a few clarifying questions and set another appointment to meet and SIGN WITH OPAL! Written and submitted to me by a customer who is playing around with story telling on paper! We were honored to receive the experience written down!
