Man Pleads Not Guilty in Fatal DUI Case

Andrew Henderson of Palos Park set to stand trial in crash that killed Minooka motorcyclist Ron Oswald and injured a family of four.

A Palos Park man pleaded not guilty Wednesday to two counts of aggravated DUI in connection with a July 14 crash that killed one man and sent a family of four to the hospital. Initially, Henderson was charged only with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. According to police, Henderson’s Dodge Durango was traveling west on Route 126 at about 2:30 p.m. July 14 when it struck a Nissan Altima waiting to turn left onto County Line Road in Plainfield. The impact pushed the Altima into the eastbound lane, where it hit Oswald’s Harley-Davidson. Oswald was taken to Rush-Copley …
