Board members said Monday they need more information on whether turf would be preferable to the current natural grass, including how much it would cost to install turf and if that would be cheaper than the continual maintenance of sod. Some games and events have had to be relocated or rescheduled because the schools' sod was in poor playing condition, board President Stuart Bledsoe said.
