Police Name Officer, Civilian, Supervisor of the Year

Each winner was nominated by peers and other department members for their work in 2011.

Three Plainfield Police Department employees have been acknowledged for outstanding work in 2011. Community Service Officer Barbara Hejna was named Civilian Employee of the Year, Brian Wagner was named Officer of the Year and Detective Sgt. Kevin McQuaid was chosen as Supervisor of the Year. All three were nominated by their peers and other members of the department. Hejna, who has worked for the department for nearly nine years, was cited for her willingness to take on more job responsibilities, including work at the fleet maintenance coordinator.
