Visit Patch at the Plainfield Chamber Business Expo

Learn more about local businesses from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 23.

More than 100 local businesses will be at the Plainfield Area Chamber of Commerce's "Healthy Businesses ... Healthy Community" business expo, set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Plainfield Central High School field house, 24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive.  Stop by to network and learn more about what businesses right here at home have to offer. Don't forget to make a stop at the Plainfield Patch booth to pick up Patch goodies and try your luck with our prize wheel. But don't come hungry — before you head over to the expo, enjoy a fundraiser pancake breakfast sponsored by the Friends of Plainfield Academy from 8 to 11 a.m. in the Plainfield Central cafeteria.

Plainfield Chamber Plans Business Expo

Event is set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 23 at Plainfield Central High School.

Plainfield residents can learn about what local businesses have to offer at the Plainfield Area Chamber of Commerce's annual Plainfield Business Expo. This year's event, with a theme of "Healthy Business ... Healthy Community," is set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at Plainfield High School - Central Campus' field house, 24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive. Community members are encouraged to come out and learn more aobut local businesses and health care providers. The event will include activities for kids, a pancake breakfast and door prizes, plus more than 100 local businesses and organizations. The event is free to the public. Friends of Plainfield Academy’s Annual Pancake Breakfast Saturday at Business Expo

Event is primary fundraiser for District 202’s alternative school.

The Friends of Plainfield Academy will hold their eighth annual pancake breakfast at the Plainfield Area Chamber of Commerce Expo tomorrow. Volunteers will serve pancakes and sausage from 8-11:30 a.m. at the Plainfield High School-Central Campus field house, 24120 West Fort Beggs Drive.  The Academy is District 202’s alternative school. The pancake breakfast is the Friends of the Academy’s primary fundraiser of the year.  Donations from the event benefit Academy students in the form of clothes, holiday gifts, financial support for families in crisis, student incentives, and our Academy sports programs, Plainfield Academy Principal Tod Schnowske said.  All of the money made from the breakfast is donated directly to the students of …
