Plainfield Park District Celebrates Dr. Seuss
Kids invited to celebrate the beloved author's birthday.
"Could you, would you on a train? Could you, would you on a bus? Would you, would you, like to join us?!" The Plainfield Park District is inviting kids ages 2-6 (with parent) to a birthday bash for Dr. Seuss. The event, held in conjunction with the famed author's 109th birthday, is set for 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. March 2 at the Streams Recreation Center, 24319 Cedar Creek Ln. Cost is $12 per child for residents and $18 per child for non-residents. Kids will enjoy activities and games from Seuss' (real name Theodore Geisel) beloved stories.
