Bond Set for Men Accused of Drunken Gunplay in Plainfield Township
Hank Robinson and Carmen Nero were in Will County court Monday.
Two men were still in jail Monday night after police said they went on a drunken shooting spree in a Plainfield Township backyard. Hank Robinson, 25, of the 23000 block of Bentley Drive in unincorporated Plainfield Township and Carmen Nero III, 33, of Joliet, were in court Monday afternoon, each facing charges of reckless discharge of a firearm and use of a firearm without a FOID card. Robinson, who was paroled in April after serving time for a string of 2010 salon burglaries, is also charged with unlawful use of a firearm by a felon. Bond for Robinson was set at $75,000, meaning he would have to post $7,500 to be released from the Will County jail. Nero’s bond was set at $50,000, or $5,000 bail.
