Election Results: Did Plainfield Vote for Obama or Romney?
Local residents voted Tuesday for president, Senate and House candidates.
Winning 23 out of 36 Will County voting precincts in the village, President Barack Obama was the choice of the majority of Plainfield-area voters in Tuesday's election, according to data released Wednesday from the county clerk's office. Countywide, Obama garnered more than 9,000 votes more than Romney.
