Bond was set at $500,000 Wednesday for a Plainfield man accused of trying to steal a woman’s car — and kidnap her in the process. Erin Johnson, 19, of 16491 Plainsman Circle is charged with kidnapping, aggravated vehicular hijacking, armed robbery, aggravated battery and aggravated assault. A Plainfield man is facing several felony charges after allegedly attempting to abduct a woman at knifepoint as she got into her vehicle early Tuesday morning in the 16300 block of Fairfield Drive, police said. Plainfield Man Gets 8 Years in Prison for Joliet Robbery
Geoffrey Washington and an accomplice were accused of confronting a man in his driveway and stealing several belongings, including an ATM card and its P.I.N.
A Plainfield man and his accomplice have pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery and were each sentenced to eight years in prison. Geoffrey Washington, 23, 1918 Mystic Drive, Plainfield, and Daniel Johnson, 18, 1003 Lois Place, Apt., 306, Joliet, were convicted in connection with a June 2010 incident in which they were accused of threatening to shoot a Joliet man in order to get him to hand over several belongings, including an ATM card and its personal identification number or P.I.N.
