Missing Lockport Teen Found SAFE in DeKalb

Courtney Jean Arp, the 15-year-old Lockport teen who has been missing since Jan. 6, was found safe in DeKalb early Sunday morning.

Update, 12:09 p.m., Jan. 13 -- Courtney Jean Arp, 15, of Lockport, who has been missing for over a week, was found safe in DeKalb, IL, early Sunday morning. Courtney's mother posted a message on theMissing Cases Facebook page:  "We got her !!!!!! Dekalb police dept thank IOU!!!!!" Other sources close to the family confirmed that the Lockport girl was found safe. Missing Lockport Teen Last Seen in Worth

Family turns to social media for help in finding 15-year-old daughter.

The family of a 15-year-old girl missing since Sunday is turning to social media in the hopes of locating her. Courtney Jean Arp is believed to be a runaway and was last seen around 8 p.m. Sunday near 113th Street and Ridgeland Avenue in Worth. Courtney's primary residence is with her mother in Lockport, but she was visiting her father, Les Arp, in Worth for winter break when she went missing on Sunday. She is a sophomore at Lockport High School. “She snuck out her bedroom window,” Les Arp said. “She is definitely a runaway.” Courtney has not used her cell phone since Sunday, but has contacted a few of her friends privately on Facebook. “As soon as they asked where she was at, she terminated the conversation,” Arp said of his daughter. …

UPDATE: Plank Junior High Student Missing for Three Days

Anyone with information on 13-year-old Reyna Martinez's whereabouts is asked to contact the Kendall County Sheriff's Office.

Reyna Martinez, a 13-year-old Boulder Hill girl, has been missing for three days, the Kendall County Sheriff's office confirmed Tuesday.  According to a family member, the Plank Junior High student has deleted all of her family from her Facebook account.  She has friends in Oswego, Montgomery and Plainfield, the family member said.  Detective Sergeant Joe Jasnosz of the Kendall County Sheriff's office said Reyna was last seen Sunday morning at her home in the 0-100 block of Long Beach Road. Reyna was last seen wearing a black tank top, white Abercrombie hooded jacket, blue jeans, and black Converse shoes with a pink near the laces.  Jasnosz confirmed that she is still missing and that foul play is not suspected. UPDATED: Missing Plainfield Teen Found Safe

Maddy Cannon, 14, was located Sunday evening, according to a family friend.

UPDATED, 8:17 p.m. Sunday A missing teen made it home safe Sunday night. Sgt. Mike Fisher said he and another officer located Maddy Cannon, 14, walking near 127th Street. The teen was reported missing shortly after 11 a.m., when she was last seen walking out to the mailbox at the end of the driveway at the family's home.  "She got in an argument with her mom and needed a bit of space," Fisher said, saying the teen spent the day walking around near the Farmstone Ridge subdivision. "They're working it out." Police and Plainfield Emergency Management Agency volunteers conducted a search for Maddy, Fisher said. They were assisted by Joliet police, who brought in a bloodhound to help with the search. Volunteers who had gathered near 127th …
