With Early Voting at Township, Village Halls, There's No Excuse to Not Cast a Ballot
Through the end of this month, early voting makes it easy to make your selections for the Nov. 5 general election.
Here's one more thing you can do without leaving Plainfield: Cast your ballot early for the Nov. 2 election. A few weeks back, I wrote about all of the things you can do at the Plainfield Township building, 22520 W. Lockport St. Come to tell, this is another one. You can also vote at Plainfield Village Hall, 24401 W. Lockport St. Early voting is in vogue. Everybody in the White House is doing it. Michelle Obama did it. Former Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel did it. Word has it the president himself has put in for his absentee ballot from the Chicago Board of Elections. Republicans are passing up the polling booth, too. Pat Brady, chairman of the Illinois Republican Party, said his party has been ramping up early voting efforts since spring. …
