Plank Jr. High Student Still Missing After Four Days

No new updates regarding 13-year-old Reyna Martinez's whereabouts, said the Kendall County Sheriff's office.

Reyna Martinez, a 13-year-old Boulder Hill girl, is still missing after four days, the Kendall County Sheriff's office confirmed Wednesday afternoon.  Detective Sergeant Joe Jasnosz of the Kendall County Sheriff's office said Reyna was last seen Sunday morning at her home in the 0-100 block of Long Beach Road.  According to a family member, the Plank Junior High student has deleted all of her family from her Facebook account.  She has friends in Oswego, Montgomery and Plainfield, the family member said.  Reyna was last seen wearing a black tank top, white Abercrombie hooded jacket, blue jeans, and black Converse shoes with a pink near the laces.  Jasnosz confirmed that she is still missing and that foul play is not suspected. Board Members Debate Junior High Electives

When it comes to electives in District 308 four junior high schools, not all offerings are created equal. For instance, industrial art classes such as Industrial Education I and II, Industrial Technology, and Drafting/CAD are offered at Bednarcik, Plank and Thompson junior highs, while students at Traughber are offered classes such as Introduction to Interactive Technologies, Hardware and Networking. All four junior high schools offer technology classes such as Introduction to Technology Applications, Multi-Media Applications, Digital Imagery and Web Design. Pam N. - Thank you for that information. I was part of another conversation about modifying OHS to accommodate more students and it was mentioned to do so they'd have to remove the swimming pool. Hence, where my thinking and comment was derived.
