Snow Plow Hits Plainfield School Bus; No Injuries Reported
The bus was heading home from Central Elementary, school officials said.
No one was hurt when a snow plow rear-ended a school bus, Plainfield School District officials confirmed Tuesday. The First Student bus was on Naperville/Plainfield Road near Mill Street at around 4 p.m. when it was hit by the plow, causing minor damage, according to Plainfield Deputy Fire Chief Jon Stratton. Neither the students nor the driver were injured in the accident, and the driver of the snow plow also refused treatment at the scene, Stratton said.
