Police Blotter: Plainfield Parole Violator Nabbed at Hospital, Cops Say

Joliet cops were waiting for an alleged parole violator Tuesday as he was being released from Provena St. Joseph Medical Center, police said. Stanley T. Muich, 38, of the 1900 block of of Mystic Drive in unincorporated Plainfield was arrested on New Year's Day after the Illinois Department of Corrections notified police that he was in violation of his parole and was due to be discharged from the Joliet hospital. Muich was arrested by Plainfield police in July 2011 and charged with criminal damage to property. According to court records, he pleaded guilty in September 2011 and was sentence to two years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. IDOC records show that Muich was paroled in July 2012.
