Welcome to Twist Yoga Lounge

A new business is planning to open in Plainfield, but a second business closed its doors.

When February turned to March in Plainfield, a new business opened its doors to the community. Twist Yoga Lounge was opened by three friends in the same plaza as Nevin's Brewing Company. You can learn more about the yoga studio on its Facebook page. But even as Plainfield welcomes a new business, it says goodbye to another. Yoga with a ‘Twist:’ Friends to Open Plainfield Studio

Twist Yoga Lounge is set to open March 1 on Route 59.

Three friends plan to bring more balance to Plainfield. Jen Cisneros, Theresa Wilson and Amy Brinkman will open Twist Yoga Lounge on March 1. Located at 12337 S. Route 59 in the shopping center anchored by Nevin's Brewing Company, the studio will offer heated yoga seven days a week, with classes for all levels. “It’s for every age, every shape, every body size,” Wilson said. Twist will open with a grand opening celebration on March 1. Renovations are under way now at the Route 59 studio, located between 119th and 127th streets.
