An Addison man who had nude photos on his cell phone of his 14-year-old Joliet girlfriend and gave her pictures of his genitalia has been arrested for child pornography, Joliet police said. The mother of the girl discovered one set of illicit photos when her daughter ran away from their home in the 7000 block of Lewis and Clark Drive, which is in Joliet but has a Plainfield mailing address, Cmdr. Rich Demick said. She suspected her daughter was with her boyfriend, Jonathan Cobos, 18, and turned the pictures over to police when she reported her daughter missing, he said. A Plainfield man is being held on child pornography charges after Will County Sheriff’s police executed a search warrant at his home on Thursday morning. John R. Baker, 72, of the 21000 block of Aspen Lane, was booked into the county jail on charges of aggravated child pornography. Deputy Chief Ken Kaupas said Baker was arrested without incident and is accused of downloading child pornography onto a computer in the home. "I can't get into specifics," Kaupas said of the investigation. "Suffice it to say, we developed enough probable cause to go into the household with a search warrant." A Plainfield man who used a cell phone to tape and photograph two underage teens having sex in the back of his van has been arrested and charged with child pornography. Jesus A. Lemus, 24, of 6416 Denali Ridge Drive, apparently had an agreement with the 16-year-old boy in which he allowed Lemus to take photos and film of him and his 16-year-old girlfriend while having sex on numerous occasions, Joliet Police Lt. Anthony Skoien pleaded guilty to possessing and transporting images and videos of children using a computer file-sharing network.
A former Plainfield South High School custodian was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison Friday for transporting and possessing child pornography. Anthony Skoien, 48, formerly of Joliet, pleaded guilty to the charges in February, admitting he used his computer and a file sharing network to move photos and videos from among thousands in his collection, according to a release issued by the U.S. Attorney's office in Chicago. Undercover law enforcement officials were able to download materials directly from Skoien's computer network. They obtained at least 111 computer files containing child pornography that depicted children engaged in sexual conduct, including sadistic and masochistic acts, the release said. Shorewood resident Christopher Kice was arrested Monday in connection with stockpiling child pornography, according to federal agents.
Federal agents took down a Shorewood man who they say amassed an extensive collection of child pornography. Christopher Kice, 41, of 1110 Callaway Drive West, was carted down to the county jail Monday and then transported to federal custody in Chicago. FBI agents armed with a warrant for Kice's arrest collared the information technology worker Monday. According to a federal affidavit, Kice had numerous illicit computer files bearing such names as "Church Girls Gone Wild," "underage illegal preteen daughter," "pedofil," "lolitaguy," and others too filthy to print.
