Plainfield South Grad Charged in Crest Hill Party Game Death
Tiffany Startz and another man face felony reckless conduct charges in connect with the death of rapper John "Fatboy" Powell.
A party game that turned fatal for a Romeoville man has led to the arrest of a Plainfield South High School graduate and another man. Tiffany Startz, 21, 2421 Satellite Drive, Joliet, who graduated from PSHS in 2007, and Jimmy Mounts, 27, 424 Garland Ave., Romeoville, were charged with felony reckless conduct in connection with the death of 25-year-old John A. Powell, according to a report published by the Joliet Herald-News. The party took place Sept. 25 in the garage of a home in the 2000 block of Waterford in Crest Hill, police said. According to accounts, Mounts was taking $5 bets from people that they couldn't take a punch from Startz.
