Funeral Services Scheduled for Plainfield Township Teen
Jose "Pepe" Chavez Sanchez died Dec. 28 from a gunshot wound sustained after he reportedly attacked a Will County deputy with a knife.
Funeral services are scheduled for a 17-year-old Plainfield Township teen who was shot after allegedly attacking a Will County Sheriff's deputy. According to the Delgado Funeral Chapel, visitation for Jose "Pepe" Chavez Sanchez, 17, is scheduled for 5 to 9 p.m. Jan. 2 and 10 to 10:45 a.m. Jan. 3 at the funeral home, 400 Landau Ave., Joliet. A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 404 Hickory St., Joliet. No obituary for the teen was posted.
