Illinois State Police to Conduct Roadside Safety Check
The check will take place overnight from Feb. 22 into Feb. 23 on the I-88 ramp to Route 31 near Batavia.
The following is from a press release issued by the Illinois State Police: The Illinois State Police (ISP), District 15, will conduct a Roadside Safety Check in Kane County during the hours of 11 p.m. February 22 until 4 a.m. February 23, according to Captain Joe Perez. The roadside check will be held on the ramp from the Reagan Memorial Tollway (I-88) to Illinois Route 31 (IL-31). The State Police have zero tolerance for impaired driving in Illinois. Officers working this detail will be watchful for drivers who are operating vehicles in an unsafe manner, driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license, transporting open alcoholic beverages or Driving Under the Influence (DUI).
