Plainfield Car Break-in Suspects Arrested

The suspects have been charged with burglary to a motor vehicle and are being held in Will County Jail pending a bond hearing.

Three Plainfield residents have been arrested in connection with a car burglary that took place early Saturday morning in the 14100 block of Hunt Club Drive. Gregory Munoz, 20, 1401 Lasser Drive; Sean Quintos, 20, 1004 Northside Drive; and Shelby Simpson, 17, 12733 Meadow Lane, were charged with burglary to a motor vehicle. All three are being held in the Will County Adult Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing. Plainfield police were alerted to a burglary in progress about 3:35 a.m. Saturday and were able to apprehend the three suspects in the vicinity, Detective Sgt. Kevin McQuaid said Monday.
