My mission is to save lives by helping people early, before it is too late.

At age 13,I worked on "Friends don't let friends drive drunk" as a boy scout in Corning,NY.Our state Senator who lost his daughter to DWI /DUI accident helped me in making this campaign a big success. No deaths were reported on 1984 new Year's eve--thanks to my fellow boy scouts, law enforcement, and media.

Then I saw a Colonoscopy at Dr.Blaine Cobb's office in 1985--I came out with an idea--Miniature Capsule that could take pictures in our digestive system.Capsule Endoscopy was invented--and I am co-patent holder.

Later,I was selected by Johns Hopkins Univ.Medical school at age of 21.

I was selected by Mayo Clinic,Cleveland Clinic,Harvard ,Johns Hopkins for Gastroenterology fellowship (all in top 5).I finished my fellowship from Cleveland Clinic in 2002.

ACG awarded me Governor's award for Cancer research in 2002.

GastroEndo news selected me to write about latest treatments in 2003.  One out of 16.

GET YOUR REAR IN GEAR asked me to volunteer for Colon Cancer cause.I am one of 6 doctors.

One of my young patient asked me to sponsor him for Chron's that had crippled him earlier.Foxriver5K in Batavia,Il.takes place in June for last 5 years.

I believe that we need to inform people how to live longer. We offer counselling on Weight control/Obesity.

Early treatment/detection is key to saving lives--and money.
