Hayley Smorczeski, Neighbor

Hayley Smorczeski is a senior at Lewis University majoring in multimedia journalism with minors in print journalism and communication. She is the news editor for The Flyer student newspaper.

Born and raised in Cicero, Smorczeski moved from the city to attend Lewis University. After learning about Lewis' journalism program two years ago, she decided to make the move out to the suburbs to earn her bachelors degree. She now lives in Lockport and says while the move was a major adjustment, she couldn't be happier about her decision.

Smorczeski takes joy in writing and hopes it comes across in her work.
