About Lori

My name is Lori and I have lived in the Naperville/Plainfield area much of my life.  After graduating from Naperville Central High School, I then pursued an Associate of Arts degree in Ornamental Horticulture from College of DuPage, I have a passion for things that grow.

I married my best friend from high school and we have a daughter who is 8 going on 18 and I have a step son from my husband's previous marriage.  I am also Troop Leader for a Girl Scout Troop, helped start another troop and am an organizer for two Plainfield elementary schools for the GSGCNWI and love every minute of it!  It's probably one of the most rewarding experiences I have experienced to date!

I have lots of opinions, some of which no one wants to hear, but generally have something to say about anything.  Looking forward to sharing some of them with Patch readers and hopefully I don't bore anyone!

Is there room for one more Brownie in your troop? My daughter was a Daisy Scout for two years, and her troop is not continuing to Brownies. She still really wants to be a Scout! Please contact me!

I am working on a feature film that is helping a great cause as well as offering people the opportunity to get involved
